csvsql

With csvsql you can extract selected data from input file(s) or stdin, use a Booleman expression to filter specific lines, and add hooks.

Example:

csvsql --select '$1,$2,$Sum' --where '$2>1280' --hook 'my $Sum=$1+$2' infile outfile

Extract from the input file 'infile' the first two fields in raws that the value of their second field is greater than '1820' and print them to the output file 'outfile' with a third field that totals them.
